Issa Vibe Paint and Sip its #LIT

One of the most important aspects of #TeamHaute is creating a platform to allow Black Entrepreneurs to shine! So I talk to everyone which is really amazing to me because I believe I’m shy, though no one who knows me would ever agree to that. When I realized I wanted to start a business I starting talking with my friends first and discussing my ideas and where I wanted my vision to go. This led to many conversation that would started with, (Really me too!) After many of these conversation or during my brain would begin to create an entire strategic plan of how to help my friends get started or how we could partner together to make it happen.  We would sit and talk about how awesome it would be and where we saw ourselves once we started this company we had just thought off. I have a note book that I carry daily full of ideas that I will never get rid of; many from those conversations. But at the time I was still caught up in fear and didn’t try but I never lost sight of my goals, I say every day is an opportunity to learn, grow and do better.

One of those conversations was with one of my fellow Howard Alum’s Shawn Perkins (@Sptheplug/ sptheplug.com)!!

He was moving into his passion and we talked many times about how to get our dreams to reality. We discussed so many different things we could do and I had a few gems that I wasn’t ready to say out loud yet. At the time we were both doing the jobs that paid the rent we weren’t doing what we loved. But we were both in a time in life where we were figuring it but always encouraging each other. Many nights it would be a few of us together thinking of our master plan while we continued to navigate through life. We were all working towards creating the vision we had for each other, all in different avenues but I saw so much potential. That is one thing that I have learned if the energy around you is not good, it can throw everything off. When you are surrounded by motivated people the ideas just flow and you seem to create greatness, hence why I created #TeamHaute. But I loved that I had the chance to watch Shawn grow, see him create and walking into the house was awesome it was like walking into a private art gallery. But the difference was every piece spoke to me and I understood what he intended for you to feel and think as you enjoyed one of his beautiful master pieces. It’s been a pleasure to see him grow as an artist and watching him evolve you can see it in his work. I truly became in awe of him especially when he decided to leap head first into his dream it was truly inspiring and now he is in full flight!

So we both kept grinding and now we have the pleasure of joining together to create an awesome experience I know everyone is going to love.  This Friday September 22nd, 2017; AshleyDene’ will be hosting its  “ISSA VIBE” Paint & Sip. This will be a  two hour painting class taught by Shawn himself it’s an exclusive opportunity to get know the man in front of the canvas.  Guest will be provided with canvases, easels, paint, and brushes, amazing HorsD’oeuvre by AshleyDene’ and Mimosas with the most #LIT music in the background. And since we like to keep it #Haute we will be hosting a mini happy hour as we let the canvases dry.  To those who got their tickets we appreciate it and for those that missed this one, sorry you will have to check back with AshleyDene’ for our next date!!
